Verification, Limited Access and Trials

XHack gives real offensive security capability to people we have verified. How you start depends on our requirements at the time, and those requirements can change. This page explains both ways to start.

What limited access means

In limited access the agent still does useful work. It finds vulnerabilities, explains them and helps you with your tasks. What it does not do is carry out exploitation.

When a task would need exploitation, the agent stops and asks you to verify your identity first. We may also limit some other features until you verify.

Limited access is not a trial of full capability. Full capability is for verified users.

How to get full access

Verify your identity: click your profile icon, choose Profile, then click Identity Verification in the sidebar. It takes about five minutes of your time, and review is usually decided within one business day. Reviewing your verification never costs anything.

Why the requirements change

We actively monitor spam and abuse risk, including a spam score, across sign-ups, payments and account activity. Our team uses this to decide whether verification is required, and we can change it at any time, including for existing accounts.

Our automated systems can also detect likely spam or abuse and, rarely, ask you to verify your identity even when it was optional. If that happens, you can ask for a human to review the decision by emailing support@xhack.io. We aim to decide within 5 business days.

Free trials

• You can have one trial per person.
• While verification is required, you do not need to link a card to start a trial.
• While verification is optional, you must link a valid credit or debit card to claim a trial. This helps us prevent spam and abuse.
• Nothing is charged during the trial itself. If a card is needed, we tell you at sign-up whether the trial turns into a paid plan, the price and the date of the first charge. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid it.

Refunds

• If verification was required and we decline it before you had any access, a card payment is refunded in full.
• If you started with limited access and we then decline your verification, you can cancel and get a pro-rata refund for a card payment.
• Crypto payments and AI API credits are not refundable.
